Wesley Eugene Crusher was born in 2348 to Beverly and Jack Crusher. Both of his parents served the Terran Empire. His father was killed by Captain Jean-Luc Picard in 2354 because Picard saw him as competetion for Beverly the love of Picard's life. Ten years after the murder of his father fate saw his mother transferred to the Enterprise where she used her influence as Captain's woman to get him a bridge commision of Acting Ensign. Commander Riker who was in charge of his studies shuttled him down to engineering to serve under the various Chief Engineers mainly because during the first year of service the Enterprise couldn't keep a Chief Engineer for more than a month before they were killed in some manner. In 2365 he was named Acting Chief Helm Officer after Lieutenant LaForge was finally able to secure the Chief Engineer position. Nearly two years later he earned a field commission to Ensign when he helped track down DaiMon Tog who had kidnapped Commander Riker, Counselor Troi and Troi's mother another one of Picard's lovers. Picard killed Tog and promoted Wesley for his work in exchange for him not telling his mother about the affair with Troi's mother. After four months serving down in engineering as an Ensign, Picard used his influence to get Wesley accepted midsemester to Starfleet Academy. Despite being a semester and a half behind Wesley was determined to graduate on time despite the obstacle put in front of him and help his mother get out from under the vindictive Jean-Luc Picard.
During his senior year at the Academy during his senior year Wesley was given orders to leave with the Traveler, whose trust he earned six years earlier, and learn all he could about his powers to help the Empire crush the Rebellion that was reforming. He returned forty years later and shared what he learned with the Empire. Since he had not aged while he was with the Travelor Wesley was placed back into the Academy as a senior and graduated the following year. Ironically he was assigned to the ISS Enterprise-E after his post academy leave which was under the command of Grand Admiral Riker as the flag ship of the Empire. A year later the Enterprise-E was decommissioned and Wesley was promoted to temporarily assigned to the ISS Cartwright until the Enterprise-F was commissioned. When the Enterprise-F was commissioned in 2415 still under the command of Grand Admiral Riker as the flag ship Wesley was made Assistant Chief Engineer.
In 2420 Grand Admiral Riker took the throne of Emporer and when Chief Engineer Nog was named First Officer Wesley was promoted to Lieutenant and named Chief Engineer. Nog was finally able to dispose of the weak Captain Kim in 2729 to become Captain himself which led to a promotion to Lieutenant Commander and Second Officer. Johannes Arjhona assumed command in 2433 and made Wesley his First Officer promoting him to Commander. In 2446 the Enterprise-G was commissioned and Wesley follows his Captain to the new Enterprise. Wesley served as Captain/Commodore Johannes' First Officer for fourteen years but never once tried to execute him. In 2447 Wesley's life was thrown into shambles when visitors from another universe appeared and mascuraded as ISS Enterprise crewmembers. Fearing he would alert the Empire to thier accidental visit he is taken back with them on what turns into a another six month journey through various multiverses. Arriving in the right universe Wesley was denied a position as First Officer on any vessel or starbase but after some encouragement from Captain Syton and Fleet Admiral Riker he was allowed to retain his rank and was named Chief Engineer of the USS Enterprise-G.
