Weaknesses
Karrak's lack of experience has a tendency to make him naive. As a reptile, he is naturally slow moving, but like the normally sluggish Terran alligator, he can move faster when motivated. He is somewhat sensitive about his past, something Counselor Troi may need to have sessions with him about.

History
Karrak left his homeworld at an early age for personal reasons, something he now regrets. He didn't think himself up to living up to the legacy that his people expected of him. But, he found the truth of the ancient Gorn proverb "Do not run from your troubles, for they will pursue and overtake you. Face them like a warrior, and you will find them smaller than you thought." Having done that, he underwent a spiritual awakening. He later enrolled in Starfleet Academy, where he graduated with honors. Starfleet Diplomatic Corps took an interest in him, being the first Gorn in Starfleet. Especially because of the ongoing negotiations between the Federation and the Gorn Alliance, made possible by the breakthrough made by Picard 25 years ago when he commanded the Stargazer. (See the TNG novel called "Requiem.") They made him do an extra year under their supervision to learn diplomacy, and hinted that he may be a key in developing normal relations with a formerly unapproachable race. He has yet to receive orders about the Federation-Gorn negotiations. He was assigned to the Enterprise fresh from the Academy. After spending two years on the Enteprise he was promoted to Lieutenant junior grade. He was asked by Worf to go to DS9 and work starfleet security in 2372.

He is enamored of an ancient Terran warrior named John Wayne, and he thinks Wayne actually did the adventures he saw. It is his favorite holodeck program, the old west. He takes after Wayne pretty much. He was also recently introduced to the WWF/WWE program by Wesley and enjoys that one as well. He is a six time tag team champion with Worf, a two time Intercontinental Champion, three time United States champion, one time European champion and two time ECW television champion. He won the King of the Ring tournament in 2368 & 2369. Only a select few have been able to defeat Karrak in a one on one match and all but one of those was with the help of outside interferance or in matches with no rules with Samoa Joe being the only man to pin him cleanly in a one on one match.

After the Dominion War escalates Karrak accompanies Lieutenant Crusher to Starbase 621 where Lieuteant Crusher was selected to work with the Tzenkethi undercover to try and get them to join the war against the Dominion. He was ten promoted to Lieutenant Commander and was temporarily reassigned to the Diplomatic Corps where he would get his choice of ship assigned to the Federation Fleet aginst the Dominon and lead it into Gorn space to try and convince his people to join the war. His assignment to the Diplomatic Corps became permanent and he becamse Federation-Gorn Ambassador assigned to DS9 to lead Gorn troups in the war.
