Personal History
Jennifer Sisko was born in the United States on Earth in 2332. Upon completion of high school she attended the United States Air Force Academy. Despite being an alternate timeline in which the United States got warp drive before Earth did there were fewer ships in service than even in Kirk's time (2260's) which made promotions rare hence her slow move through the ranks. She was transported on the Prometheus to an alternate timeline in which Kirk and company did return from 1969 tho she has no way of knowing it was the original timeline he left. Commander Dax requested that she be her Assistant in the Science Dept to reunite with her husband a Captain in this universe which was equilivalent to Colonel in Jennifer's. Shortly after Jennifer's appointment as Assistant Chief Science Officer Dax was offered the First Officer position on the Excalibur and Jennifer was promoted to Captain (full Lieutenant) and named Chief Science Officer on DS9. In her universe Jennifer and Ben did not have children so meeting Jake was a shock to her system.
