Personal History
Billy McCoy is a direct descendant of Leonard McCoy of the USS Enterprise (NCC-1701) where the ship and crew were stranded in the year 1969. While he was born in Melbourne, Australia Billy moved to the United Startes with his parents when he was seven months old. As a naturalized citizen he was eligible to join the military at eighteen which he did wanting to get out into space and be a Doctor like his ancestor. After graduating from Air Force Medical Academy Billy was assigned to the USAF Enterprise (NCC-1701-K) as Chief Medical Officer where he served for seven years before getting transported to a different quantum reality. He assisted in sickbay on the Prometheus until it was returned home to it's quantum reality then he was named the Chief Medical Officer of Starbase 165. It was a dull unimportant assignment that Billy couldn't get out of seven and a half years. When the Planck was launched Billy was selected by Captain Ben Zoma to be the Planck's Chief Medical Officer allowing him to among the first to fully explore the Delta Quadrant.
